Frequently Asked Questions
1. What's required to book? Is my retainer refundable?
When you're ready to book, there is a 50% non-refundable retainer. The purpose of paying the retainer is that it permanently books your spot in my calendar and I set that day aside entirely for you. After that the remaining amount will be due 3 days before your session. Everything must be paid in full before I shoot your session.
2. When will we receive our photos?
I know how eager you are to see your photos, so I'll send out a few sneak peeks no later than 24 hours after your session. Your photos are triple backed up while I select and edit the best from the day, organized in a way that retells the story. You can expect to receive your full gallery 2 weeks after your session.
4. Can we bring our pet?
Absolutely! Fur babies are most welcome. If you bring your pup along, make sure they get some brisk exercise before coming. This will allow for a (hopefully) slightly calmer canine during your shoot. I also recommend bringing their favorite toy or treats to help get their attention if needed.

3. I don't know how to pose in photos, help!
I will take care of that!! Seriously can't tell you the amount of times I've hear from couples, "we are so awkward", we shoot and they aren't at all. I have lots of practice and promise you it will be carefree and fun. I also want to make sure you feel comfortable and communicate throughout the session to make sure we aren't doing anything you wouldn't be okay with.
5. What if the weather Gods aren't on our side?
It's totally up to you! If it is wet and soggy, we can either have a fun photoshoot in the rain or we can always reschedule. If it is hot, we will find some shade. If it is overcast but dry, we will go ahead as some of my favorite sessions have taken place on cloudy days.
