Jackie & Charlie’s wedding day was truly one for the books! While the forecast called for rain most of the day, we were lucky enough to avoid it all the way up until the reception, and once the short storm passed, it left us with a beautiful glowy sunset which made for the most beautiful golden hour portraits.

I first met the bride through my sister in-law and ended up taking portraits of her and her horse Simon a few years earlier. So when she reached out asking me to photograph her wedding, I was truly so grateful! Jackie and Charlie are the sweetest couple and really match each other’s energy.

Jackie and Charlie hosted their wedding at Angel and Anchor Farm in Sterling, CT. Set on a 5 acre private property, it has a beautiful Victorian home that makes for the perfect getting ready space, flower filled gardens, an orchard, and a wide open field for the ceremony and reception space. Surrounded by family and friends, everyone was so happy to celebrate the newlyweds on their special day.
