Clara and Matt’s romantic engagement session at Hartford City Hall was quite honestly a dream. If you’re looking for a classy vibe for your engagement session or a historic place to elope, Hartford City Hall is the place to be.

Back in September, I shared a post looking for a couple to do a styled shoot with at Hartford City Hall. Not too long after, Clara and Matt reached out to me and mentioned that this was exactly the vibe they were looking for for their engagement photos. So, we got to planning!

Once we chose a date and time, I helped Clara and Matt style their outfits and shared some inspiration that we both connected on. I also sent them a short questionnaire to get to know them, their relationship, and personalities a bit better.

When the day came for Clara and Matt’s engagement session, I had a list of ideas planned out for them! The history and romantic beauty of Hartford City Hall is truly inspiring. We wandered around the building, stopping on all 3 floors and got creative with some different poses and prompts.
