An Estate Wedding Built on Ease, Intention, and Connection
Clara and Matt’s wedding at Curry Estate on September 26, 2025, was shaped by intention long before the day ever arrived. From the way their story began to the way their wedding day unfolded, everything was guided by a shared value of connection, presence, and ease. Their love, best described by Clara in one word as easy, was felt in every moment of the day.
After meeting at a club meeting at UConn during the tail end of the pandemic, a friendship was formed first. Conversations came naturally. Trust was built quietly. That same foundation was reflected throughout their estate wedding, where moments were allowed to happen without being rushed or overly directed.

From a Meaningful Church Ceremony to an Estate Wedding Celebration
The day was thoughtfully paced from the very beginning, with quiet getting-ready moments setting the tone for what was to come. Time was given for anticipation to build, details to be gathered, and emotions to settle before the day unfolded further. Later, a heartfelt ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Church in Somers, New York, where a calm, reverent atmosphere was created as Clara walked down the aisle surrounded by family, emotion, and tradition. No first look was planned, allowing the ceremony to remain the first moment they saw one another, a choice that made the experience feel deeply intentional.
Following the ceremony, a scenic drive led guests to the reception location at Curry Estate, where the celebration continued. The transition between spaces was unhurried, giving the day a natural rhythm that was felt by everyone present.

Style with Meaning at This Estate Wedding
The visual story of this estate wedding was thoughtfully layered with timeless style and personal touches. A black-tie aesthetic was softened with warm florals in shades of green, peach, white, and burgundy colors that reflected both the season and the couple’s calm, romantic energy.
Rather than focusing on trends, each design choice was made to support the experience. Nothing felt forced. Everything felt considered. This allowed the imagery to remain timeless while still feeling deeply personal to Clara and Matt.

A Day That Felt as Good as It Looked
What made this estate wedding especially meaningful was the way it felt to be there. Because Matt’s family traveled from Ireland, where his roots run deep, this gathering held rare significance. It was one of the only times everyone they love was able to be together in one place, and that emotion was carried throughout the day.
Moments were documented as they unfolded: quiet glances, shared laughter, and the comfort that came from being surrounded by people who know them best. A strong sense of trust allowed space for honesty, which made the storytelling feel effortless.

Planning an Estate Wedding That Feels Like You
An estate wedding can be many things, but Clara and Matt’s day served as a reminder that the most impactful celebrations are rooted in connection and trust. When space is created for real moments, the result is a wedding day that feels just as meaningful years later.
If a wedding day centered on emotion, ease, and storytelling is being envisioned, it would be an honor to document it.
